This blog is for people who live primarily in the Berkshire area and want to sell their property.
I'm not sure about your experiences, but a lot of people in our area are trying to sell their homes and having not much in the way of luck. The Estate Agenct is always say things are moving, but when we drive round the streets, the boards seem to be up for a long time.
Although we specialise in buying properties quickly, we'd be very keen to hear your experiences in this area so that you can share what works and what doesn't with other people.

If you do want to sell your property, here are couple of tips to help you on your way in the current finanical market. We hope these help.
1) Needless to say, always make sure your property is clean and well maintained.
2) There are lots of buyers on the Internet. Try to register with some dedicated buying sites (like ours!) and see how this changes from your previous experience.
3) There are lots of buyers out there, if you can get out of the "Estate Agency only" mind set, and are willing to think a little more flexibility, you can sell your house quickly.

I was reading an interesting article in The Independant last week. The article said that the next house crash is a WHEN, and not an IF. Alas, the economics backup this view. One poor chap in County Durham had been trying to sell his house for over 12 months without success.
ReplyDeleteI'd suggest that if you really need to sell your house now, drop the price and shift it. Call us and we can help if you wish. You probably won't have the same luxury in 6 months time.

Houses in Milton Keynes seem to be getting snapped up - once the price is dropped sufficiently.
